Today's the last day of the Beijing Olympics. Time has passed so quickly. I still remembered I was thinking about how long it was until 2008. I was in primary school then. Time really flies. It is wonderful that Singapore had won another medal after 48 years. Gret job winning a silver medal!
I'm so looking forward to tonight's Beijing Olympic 2008 Closing Ceremony.
Yay! I go a new phone. Sony Ericsson W980. Too bad my old phone couldn't be traded in because of the lines across the screen. I like my new phone very much.

Wow, it has been almost 2 months since the last post. Many things have been going on.Today is the last day of the Common Tests. Yay!I wanted to post on some things but was too busy with Maple and school work.Into the abyss:Weeks ago, on a Friday, the CD shelter blacked-out/ did not have power supply. It was so dark you totally couldn't see your hands. Everyone had to resort to the flashlight on their handphone. I got worried that I might bump into something even though I had my phone with me. In the end, we took turns to practise outside the D&T block. To make things worse, it was raining. It was quite a experience.My brother finally graduated from MindChamps and as my parents promised, we got a Wii. YAY! I have waited for so long. The sports game is quite entertaining :) It would be wonderful to have teo more remotes. There are so many accesseries to buy. I am already very contented with what I have now and should not neglect my studies.
The Beijing 2008 Olypics has started! Their Opening Ceremony was spectacular. Some of the fireworks were fake. They were created as the helicopter could not fly so close to them. I don't really mind. It saves money and cuts down the pollution. China is polluted enough mind you.
A girl(only one) who was singing a song during the ceremony was also 'fake'. She was lip-synching -.- The real singer was also a little girl but she had failed the cuteness test. The real singer is fine with that. China was just putting up a show so they just wanted to make it the best.
4 years since the last Olypic games in Athens. So fast. The Opening Ceremony was on 08.08.08(Friday) :) I waited so long for the Singapore team to be marched in. I sort of missed it when waking my brother. There were 204 countries participating in the games. Singapore was among the last 20 to enter the stadium. The performance during the ceremony was so wonderful as the they many people to perform. The starting one was the coolest. 2008 men were beating drums with light. Their coordination was almost perfect. They used the lights to count down to the start of the ceremony. 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 then firecracker(I think) around the stadium. The numbers counted down in different patterns. During the last 10 seconds, the top group formed it in Chinese while the bottom one used numbers.
The next day, which was National Day, I wacthed some events. There was one that went on for 5hrs++. The atheletes/ cyclists cycled 200++km for 5++hrs. At first there were three in the lead. In the last few kilometers, two others caught up. A Spainish(from 3 ppl group) was 1st, one of the other 2 got 2nd or 3rd. One from the 3 ppl grp dropped to 5th. He bangged his bike. More than 5hrs of hardwork, up hills and steep slopes. It was really unbelievable and an eye opener. On Monday, there was a 14 year old boy from Britian in Diving. So young. Oh well.
I think I sounded like a commentator.
